The credit union offers savings, checking, IRA's, and term certificate accounts. All accounts are competitively priced

LOAN SERVICES

A full range of competitively priced lending services, including mortgages, new and used vehicle loans, and home improvement loans, are offered by the credit union's staff. Our lending team stresses accommodating and fast service.

TELEPHONE SERVICES  

Members may call any of our four offices to order the transfer of funds between accounts, request that a check be mailed to their home addresses, order supplies of checks, request online account access passwords, schedule loan appointments and request information about their recent transactions.

sERVICE BY US MAIL

Members may mail deposits to the credit union (the endorsement on checks should be "For deposit only into account #xxxxx," followed by the payee's signature(s)). Members may also request, via U.S. mail, virtually any other service to be performed.

NOTARY SERVICE   

Notary service is offered free of charge to all members of the credit union

MONEY ORDERS
Low cost money orders are issued in the lobbies of our four offices; they are not provided via mail or through the drive-up windows of the Moscow or Potlatch offices.

USED VEHICLE PRICES   

Members may learn the "blue book" value of used cars and trucks through access to the NADA Used Car Guide in the lobbies or NADA Used Car Guide online .

DIRECT DEPOSIT   

The credit union offers the convenience and safety of electronic deposit of government payments. Members employed at the University of Idaho, and certain other local employers, may also choose to have their paychecks automatically deposited into their accounts. The ability to have loan payments directly transferred from members' paychecks is also offered.

OVERDRAFT PROTECTION

Many members choose to set up overdraft protection services to avoid the cost and embarrassment of "bounced" checks. A member may choose to have funds transferred to his or her checking account from a savings and/or a line of credit.

VISA debit CARD

Members who have Latah Federal Credit Union's Debit Card may use it to purchase goods and services at Accel, Interlink and VISA locations and conduct other transactions, such as the withdrawal of cash and the transfer of funds, at ATM's bearing the VISA, or Exchange logos. VISA CREDIT CARD

Latah Federal Credit Union offers a VISA card with no annual fee and a 13.5% APR interest rate.

WIRE TRANSFERS

Members may have funds wired to and from other financial institutions. The fee a domestic wire transfer is $16. The fee for international wire transfers varies.

24-HOUR DEPOSITORY

Members may deposit checks and documents in our secure "night drop" vaults located at all of our locations.

LOAN INSURANCE  

The credit union offers low-cost disability and life insurance which covers loan payments in the event of a claim. Please speak with one of our lenders for more information if this service is of interest to you.

NEWSLETTER  

The credit union publishes a quarterly newsletter to help keep members abreast of developments in the financial services industry.

Members' deposits in Latah Federal Credit Union are insured to at least $100,000 by the National Credit Union Administration, an agency of the federal government.
